Psycron.app — Cookie Policy

Psycron (“we”, “our”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the correct functioning of our website (psycron.app), improve user experience, allow analytics (only if permitted), and operate our newsletter sign-up form.

This Cookie Policy explains:

  • What cookies are
  • What types of cookies we use
  • Why we use them
  • How you can manage or withdraw your consent
  • How cookies relate to GDPR obligations

This policy applies only to the Psycron.app website and does not apply to any future Psycron tools, applications or platforms that may process health-related or special-category data.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember preferences, enable essential functions, and collect aggregated analytics.

We also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which are functionally similar technologies used to store preferences on your device.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We use three categories of cookies:

  1. Essential cookies (always active; no consent required)

  2. Analytics cookies (optional; require consent)

  3. Marketing cookies (not currently used)

Each category is detailed below.

3. Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are required for the website to function properly. They cannot be disabled, and their use is permitted under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a service requested by the user) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional website).

These cookies do not identify you and do not track you across websites.

4. Analytics Cookies (Optional — Require Consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via react-ga4. Analytics cookies only load after you give consent.

5. Marketing Cookies (Not Used Currently)

We do not use:

In such cases, data transfers rely on:

  • Reject all non-essential cookies

  • Customize which categories you allow

  • Withdraw or modify your consent at any time
